These pants from Buzz Rickson are reproductions of the 'Frogskin'pants that were issued to the US Marine Corp during WWII, with the unique camo pattern developed for a jungle type environment. Originally, they were designed to be multi functional andcould be worn reversed with the so called 'Beach' side out, which is in the same pattern but in sandy brown color.

Buzz Rickson's havecarefully reproduced this garmentaccording to the original one with all the wartime specifications and they are produced of sturdy quality herring bone twill, also called 'HBT' cotton fabric with all the correct and authentic details. The pantshave one front pocket and one back pocket on each side, meaning you will always have two pockets on the outside and two on the inside. This version of the pants is inspired by a customized wartimegarment where someone added two large thigh pockets to make them even more functional. These pockets are made of a green hbt twill fabric and are in the same style as the lower front pockets of armyjackets of the same era. Due to these pockets, it will not be as comfortable to wear the pants with the beachcamo outwards, but it is fully possible.
